Grace Campus Ministries

So this is a post of an email of a post by a friend that I sent out earlier today...does that make sense? If not thats ok...Follow Matts move to Hong Kong and ministry happenings @ http://blog.gracecampus.net and/or http://mattdean.blogspot.com and read below...

My email: (maybe read his post below first...)
Some of you know what Matt Dean is doing, some may not. That is why I forwarded his blog entry. Just wanted to share, so here you go!

Encouraging! As he stated...Before they even arrive!

Maik was not a person we were really planning on meeting last October, but he has proved to be a blessing! Now on staff he has been networking, working on housing & more...He has been in HK for years already, knows the lay of the land, & from Germany ended up in HK not on his own desires, with a heart for university students...He was placed there b/c God had gone before Grace Campus...
Pray for them! I am sure they are excited mostly, but nervous, and doubtful all at the same time. 9 people & Matts family (who is there till God redirects them) have committed to move to HK for the next 2 years! One couple married around 6 months ago!

Excited to see how things unfold as they land on August 3rd!

Matt, Great job directing this move! We thank you and April for your faithfulness.

This morning, I received a very encouraging phone call from our team member Maik, who is already working in HK. More details will be posted at the grace campus blog soon, but for now what I can say, is that we are humbled to know we have a network in place in HK. Faculty representing universities in HK attended a dinner hosted by GCM|HK and another partner organization. The event was held aboard the OM ship Doulos, which is currently at port in HK. Simply put, we are connecting with like-minded professors who will help us serve the students in Hong Kong. After last night's event, we have relationships in place on all 8 university campus locations throughout HK. This is huge... to know some of our fist steps are clearly before us is compelling; reminding us once again, that God has already gone before us, for our joy and His namesake. (Ephesians 2:10).
